The housemates were shocked and horrified by the public's decision to kick Carlos out but keep Klaus in The House. The outcome of the ongoing duel between the archrivals was clear, victory to Klaus and defeat for Carlos. In a dramatic and emotional farewell there was many tears "I love you. I will never forget you. Don't give up," Carlos whispered to Cora, Sabrina, Kristina and Jessica.

Jessica had already declared that she would walk if Klaus remained in The House. Cora, Sabrina and Eve had similar thoughts. Together, the girls discussed what they should do. Jessica said "Cora, if you go, then I'm going!" There was a lot of careful consideration and in the end they decided not to give up.

Also newcomers Juergen and Anne have spent their first few hours in the Big Brother House.

Today on the 1st March 2010 the mother of all reality shows celebrates its 10th birthday!

Exactly ten years ago, on 1 March 2000, RTL II, beamed the first episode of "Big Brother." In the lead up there were debates and questions raised about the 24 hour format.

Now 10 years later, living for the tenth time are a group of housemates in the Big Brother House. Since the 11 January 2010 a new season has began and the cult reality show still achieves outstanding ratings.

Melisa Cantiveros of General Santos City got her fairytale ending after she was named "Big Winner" of the phenomenal hit reality show "Pinoy Big Brother Double Up" last Saturday (Feb 13) at the "Big Date on the Big Night" in the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The "Inday Kengkay of Gen San" won a close fight with second big placer Paul Jake Castillo, who was revealed to be leading the votes when Big Brother showed the tally last Tuesday (Feb 9).

But when voting closed last Saturday, it was Melisa who led with 32.08 percent of the almost four million text votes sent by fans of the program followed by Paul Jake (27.31%), Jason Francisco (24.97%), Johan Santos (7.94%), and Steve "Tibo" Jumalon (7.69%).

Wearing a pink gown and sitting on a moving throne, Melisa was grandly welcomed to the outside world by honour guards, screaming fans, fireworks, and no less than ABS-CBN president Charo Santos-Concio, who was escorted by "Rubi" hunks Jake Cuenca and Deither Ocampo. She also cried on stage before receiving her check of P1 million, her key to a brand new house an lot, a new laptop, and a business franchise.

But before her dramatic proclamation, the viewers were also treated to special numbers from Kapamilya stars Charice Pempengco, Sheryn Regis, Mark Bautista, JayR Siaboc, Bugoy Drilon, Teddy Corpuz, Yeng Constantino, Charlie Green, Kim Chiu, the Jabbawockeez, and the cast of "Rubi" - Angelica Panganiban, Deither Ocampo, Shaina Magdayao, and Jake Cuenca in the program hosted by Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez, and Bianca Gonzalez.

After almost 19 weeks and more than 20 housemates evicted from Big Brother's House, the newest Big Winner will be named on "Pinoy Big Brother Double Up."

Who among Melisa, Jason, Johan, Paul Jake, and Tibo will win in the number one reality show in the country? Let's recall the experiences of the Big Five who gained the love of the masses.

Melisa was branded as "Ang Inday Kengkay ng Gensan" also known as Inday Waknat or "Inday Pangit" in her hometown. Nonetheless, Melai is such a perky housemate inside the PBB house, giving it a happy ambiance whenever it becomes dull.

She impressed a lot of people because of her genuineness and positive disposition in times of trouble. People also fell in love with her and Jason's love story that gained a large number of followers and supporters.

Jason, on the other hand, became prominent in his place because of his group's reputation. It was never easy for the "Boy Astig ng Mindoro," to mingle with the other housemates inside the Big Brother House and they found it difficult to understand him too.

But things changed when he got closer to Melai. The viewers also noticed that the bad boy also has a sensitive side and can be a good friend, a selfless housemate, and a romantic.

Johan, "The Cutie Server ng QC," is exposed to difficult times ever since he was young. He wants to buy a house for his family, as they never had one of their own. He has always dreamt of taking his loved ones away from living a difficult life.

Inside the PBB House, he was tagged a wallflower because it took a long time for him to open up to his fellow housemates. But when he finally got the chance to show his determination, he always let people know how he feels and stands up for what he believes.

Unlike Johan, Paul Jake grew up with almost everything in life. But the "Negosyo Prince ng Cebu" was raised simple and wise. He once tried to act as one of their laborers to understand how their business works and to relate with their workers.

Paul Jake proved himself inside the Big Brother House with his leadership qualities, good strategies, and strong fighting spirit, which he displayed during Resbak Attack.

Similar to PJ, Tibo is also a leader. The "Dad of Steel ng CDO" served as the father inside the Big Brother House. He never failed to remind his younger housemates regarding their behaviors and he made it a point to look out for them whenever needed.

He aims to give his wife and children a good life. After experiencing life's adverse challenge, there was nothing left with his money and properties. So Tibo was forced to get into several jobs like being a surveillance agent.

Carlos's rage from the aftermath of Harald's eviction was aimed towards Iris, he even wished for nastiness on her son. The Argentine went too far. Sabrina was the only housemate present and heard what Carlos said. Despite an immediate apology from Carlos to Iris and the other housemates, Big Brother wanted to step in. The conflict must be clarified and only if Iris forgives Carlos may he remain in The House.

In the Big Brother psychologist area Carlos and iris heard the insults spoken by Carlos. Iris couldn't believe what she heard. "Did you really say all that?" asked Iris. In a long interview Carlos and Iris worked on their conflict in The House. It resulted in a resolution with Iris excepting that Carlos's outburst was a one off.

Carlos realised that he may have liked Iris from the beginning but fought on the side of is husband Harold and deeply regrets his comments.

Carlos was still in despair over his comments and couldn't understand how he managed to say such things. Weeping, he retreated to the bedroom.

The Great Debate Part 2 - tonight at "Big Brother", 19:00 Clock, RTL II

Paul Jake Castillo leads all housemates in the voting for "Big Winner" of "Pinoy Big Brother Double Up" as of Tuesday (Feb 9).

The Cebuano housemate took 31.66% of votes, followed by Jason Francisco (23.21%), Melisa Cantiveros (20.39%), Johan Santos (13.39%), and Tibo Jumalon (10.81%).

For the first time in "Pinoy Big Brother" history, Big Brother allowed the audience to take a peek at the voting standing last Tuesday (Feb 9) to show his gratitude for the overwhelming support of the public for the phenomenal reality show.

Meanwhile, PBB host Toni Gonzaga reminded the viewers during the show that the standing may still change because the voting will continue until the Big Date on the Big Night on Saturday (Feb 13).

Before this shocking revelation, Big Brother also finally revealed to the housemates that all five of them will advance to the Big Night. In the mock eviction, Melai was first to be saved since she won the Big Jump Challenge. She was followed by Paul Jake and Tibo who gathered in House A.

Moments later, Kuya connived with the three housemates to reveal the good news to Jason and Johan. Big Brother told the two that the last housemate to enter the Big Night would be pushed into the pool. Hence, both boys were pushed to the water with Tibo, Melai and Johan following them later to celebrate.

The Big Five was also treated with a visit and performances by former celebrity housemate Macoy Fundales, who sang PBB's official theme "Pinoy Ako." On Thursday (Feb 11), it will be their turn to perform in the Big High Five Concert inside The House.

The public have been voting to evict the first official housemate. With 66.1% Harald was no longer in the Big Brother House. It was especially upsetting for husband Carlos although the other housemates were also sad.

Harold spent 28 days in the 10th Big Brother House. The always calm and diplomatic Carlos totally freaked when the door closed behind his loved one. "This is unjust," he yelled and through objects around in pain and fury. Carlos couldn't be comforted by anyone as he struggled to work out why Iris was not evicted instead. A little later the Argentinean apologised for his outburst. "I've said things that I would never say otherwise. For that I apologise!"

The first official eviction of Big Brother 10 is nearing. Harald, Iris and Sabrina have been nominated by the housemates to face the public vote. One housemate will leave immediately but will be replaced by Jennifer who is the new housemate in the Big Brother House.
